Sanborn's Travel Service is a host agency for independent, home-based travel sales agents. Host agencies allow individuals or businesses selling travel to avoid operating costs such as rent, GDS fees, insurance, accounting, ARC and IATAN accreditation requirements, and other operating expenses. Sanborn's Travel handles the agency operations so home-based agents can sell travel without the demands of operating a travel agency. Our goal at Sanborn's Travel is to provide our independent agents 100% support, experience and technology to ensure their sales needs are met.
Sanborn's Travel offers independent agents the following:
Sabre GDS access at no cost. Sabre access does require high-speed DSL connection for your home computer.
Commission compensation paid twice monthly by direct deposit to authorized bank account. Detailed commission reconciliation reports are emailed to agent on date of direct deposit of commission.
Errors and Omissions blanket insurance coverage.
Sanborn's Travel does not require independent agents to pay a start up fee or monthly charges, nor imposes productivity or booking requirements.
IATAN or CLIA cards are provided for qualified agents.
Independent agents may employ Sub-agents.
All supplier correspondence will be forwarded directly to agent as received. by agency.
Travel document shipping via UPS or USPS to agent or client as instructed.
Email account is provided to independent agent.
